Bio

Fernando is a composer, arranger, and pianist with a classical background, working across concert music and music for film, advertising, and synchronization.

He studied Piano Performance and Composition at the University of Guadalajara under the guidance of Marita Zimmer. During his formative years, he also attended the Beverly Hills International Music Festival, where he studied with artists such as Nick Strimple and Gustavo Romero. In addition, he participated in masterclasses and workshops with musicians including María Elena Camarena, the José White String Quartet, Jean-David Cohen, and Alla Von Buch, among others.

His work moves between concert music and visual media. In film, his music has been featured in international festivals such as SITGES, LA Shorts, Silicon Beach, Fusiofilm International Film Festival, Hollywood Indie Festival, Bogoshorts, and La Gran Fiesta del Cine Mexicano. His concert music has been performed in recitals and concerts in Mexico and the United States, and has also been broadcast on Milenium Bella Música, one of the most important classical music radio stations in Mexico.

Before pursuing formal studies, Fernando spent several years immersed in popular music, learning electric guitar and performing in different contexts, from classic rock bands to modern pop projects, as well as working as a session musician and arranger. This early experience, combined with his later classical training, shaped a musical perspective that moves naturally between different styles and contexts.
